マカフィーの「VirusScan Enterprise」、「Lotus Notes」との併用で不具合 - CNET Japan
ぉーぃ。 以前、McAfee Enterprise 8.0iで、 VSE の配信時E-mail スキャン(Lotus Notes)が有効になっていると、Lotus Notes クライアントのパフォーマンスが低下する という不具合がありましたが、今回はひどすぎるなぁ。「（VirusScan Enterprise 8.5iへの）アップグレードを行うと、ユーザーは（メールボックスから）ロックアウトされ、 Notesのエラーが発生する。その場合、再起動もできず、Notesを再インストールする必要がある」と述べた。最悪だ。現在、この問題について、決定的な解決策はない。そのため、VirusScan Enterprise 8.5iのサポート記事では、同ソフトウェアの 「scan all server databases（全てのサーバデータベースをスキャンする）」と 「scan server mailboxes（サーバメールボックスをスキャンする）」 の2つの機能を無効化するよう、次善策として提案している。とりあえず、まだ8.0iサポートされているので、8.0iで凌ぐ感じかなぁ。 修正Patchがリリースされるまでは、VirusScan Enterprise 8.5iへのアップグレードは控えたほうが良いかもしれません。 記事には載ってない回避策ですが、IBMのサイトに書かれているものをそのまま翻訳。■回避策： 1. VirusScan Enterpriseのコンソール内の「Notes Scanner Settings」タブで Scan Server mailboxes、Scan all server databases の二箇所のチェックをはずす 2. Notes.iniファイル内の以下の二行をコメントアウトする AddInMenus=NCMenu EXTMGR_ADDINS=NCExtMgr 3.
