Windows Server 2003 SP2の日本語版リリースは3月27日

自動更新で適用をしてしまうことを避けたい場合は、

ツールを入手適用する必要があります(サーバをダイレクトにMicrosoft Updateさせて運用している...というのは少ないかもしれませんが)。
    

        A blocking tool is available for organizations
 that have AU enabled on their servers to ensure prompt delivery of critical updates, 
but would like to temporarily disable delivery of the Windows Server 2003 SP2 automatic update
 through AU that is set to take place starting June 12, 2007.

This toolkit contains three components: 
　1. A Microsoft-signed executable 
　2. A script 
　3. An ADM template 
    

ということで、このツールにはスクリプトやテンプレートも入っているので幸せですねぇ。
適用しても、2007/06/12にはアップデートされちゃいますが。
それまでの期間に検証を行いましょう。

また、SP2を適用するにあたって、IE7をアンインストールする必要があるなどいろいろな条件が記載されていますので、
Release Notes for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2には必ず目を通しましょう。
